OUR FLOWERS
Bouquets + wreaths
We sell fresh cut flowers + mixed bouquets during our growing season, dried bouquets + wreaths throughout the autumn, and end our season with fresh holiday wreaths in the winter. During the growing season, you can find our fresh bouquets at Troyers Marketplace, LCRC in downtown Johnstown or at the Johnstown Farmers Market. You can also place flower orders for porch pick up.

We offer bouquet subscriptions during our growing season. Subscriptions include a seasonal selection of blooms tucked into a mixed bouquet. Subscriptions run monthly with pick-up or deliveries at the same time each week. Sign ups will begin as the start of the season gets closer.

For those who prefer to make their own arrangements using local, organically grown flowers, we offer the option for diy buckets with seasonal availability. Each bucket contains a variety of stems and foliage for your custom creation. We will do our best to accommodate any preferred color palette request. You can contact us to check for availability and for a quote.

Events
At smaller acres farm, we take a limited amount of special events each year during our peak season. Events we have designed for include senior picture shots, small wedding events, DIY flower bar and memorial flowers. Head to our contact page to place an inquiry. I am open to any challenge!

WHO WE ARE
Me
My name is Andrea Kowalski. I am a pharmacist, flower farmer, wife and mom of four kids. We left our home in the city to reconnect with nature and moved to our farm in Johnstown, Ohio. I started growing this business at the height of covid as a way to get outside and teach my kids about loving and tending a garden and receiving the abundance as a reward for hard work and patience.

Our passion
At Smaller Acres, we believe in the simple joys of life—sunshine on your face, dirt under your nails, and the sweet fragrance of freshly bloomed flowers. With love and dedication, we tend to our fields, nurturing each stem to blossom into nature's finest treasures.
But our journey doesn't end with cultivation; it extends to sharing the beauty we've grown with everyone around us. Whether it's a bouquet for your kitchen table or a bundle for a special occasion, our flowers carry the essence of our family's passion and the warmth of our farm.

Our goal
Our goal is to use our land to promote regenerative agriculture methods and create a sustainable, organic ecosystem of flowers to provide to our community. We remove invasive species and plant natives while inviting native insects and wildlife back into our ecosystem. While we are not certified organic, we grow all our flowers organically and avoid synthetic fertilizers and harmful sprays. We strive to use reusable, recyclable, and compostable supplies and packaging whenever possible.
